Y empezamos el largo recorrido por Francia, salimos de Arles para llegar a la region de Bretaña, pero claro esta parandonos en algunas ciudades lindas. Para este post tenemos la ciudad de Toulouse (Tolosa), la cual es llamada la "ciudad rosa" y esto por que muchas de sus construcciones estan hechas con ladrillo rojo, lo cual le da una luz diferente a la ciudad, lo unico malo es que este dia que visitamos estaba nublado, creo que con sol se hubiera apreciado mas el efecto.

And we started a tour in France (yet another), we went out of Arles to arrive to Britanny region, of course stopping in some nice cities. For this post we have Toulouse city, it is called the "pink city" and this is because many buildings are made with red brick, which makes a pink/light red effect in the city, a different light, the bad thing for us is that the day we visited it was cloudy so we couldn't appreciate the effect at the maximum.

Ahora regresamos a los relatos de los viajes por Francia... en este post veremos la visita al Molino de Daudet, el cual esta en un poblado llamado Fontvieille, muy cerca de Arles. Este molino es famoso por varias razones, la principal es que se parece mucho al molino que Daudet describe en una de sus famosas novelas (de la cual no recuerdo el nombre pero solo se que la protagonista es una cabra), la otra razon que lo hace famoso es que esta muy bien conservado. Muchos turistas se aproximan a visitarlo todos los dias, el dia que fuimos nosotros no fue la excepcion, asi que fue dificil tomarle fotos...

Now we come back with the stories about the travels in France... in this post we will talk about Daudet's mill, it is located in a town called Fontvieille, very close to Arles. This mill is famous for many reasons, the main one is because is very similar to the mill Daudet described in one of his famous novels (I don't remember the name I just remember the star was a goat), the other reason is because it's very well conserved. Many tourist go everyday, the day we went to see it was not the exception, so it was hard to take pictures...

Despues de tomar algunas fotos al Molino nos fuimos a tomar fotos de la vista y a ver los demas molinos de alrededor que si estaban en malas condiciones... aqui van algunas fotos:

After taking some pictures of the mill we went to take pictures of the view and see the other mills of the area, they were actually in bad conditions, here there are some pictures:

Este es el Molino de Avon (bueno la descipcion, chequen que esta en "español" tambien, pero esta pesima la traduccion / This is Avon's mill

Y seguimos caminando hasta llegar al "Castillo de Montauban", en el cual se desarrolla la novela de Daudet (si esta donde la cabra es protagonista)

And we kept walking until we arrived to "Montauban's castle" where the Daudet novel takes part (yeah this one of the goat)

Wow que chilo / wow super !

Si, casi me engaña, pero camine un poco mas y vi que al fondo es una casa comun y mas que corriente, o sea solo la fachada es linda... hehehe que chistoso

Yeah, I almost got cheated but I walked a little bit more and I saw that in the end was a common house, just the front is castle style... is funny hehe

Vamos a hacer una pequeña interrupcion al relato de los viajes por Francia, para poder mostrarles detalles de la celebracion del Grito de Independencia que por suerte tuve la oportunidad de presenciar (este año me toco estar en Mexico). El "Grito" es una ceremonia acompañada de toda una verbena popular, en donde se recrea el llamado a la Independencia (como ocurrio en 1810), y toda la gente va vestida con algun motivo mexicano, lleva sus banderas, etc... cualquier cosa que sirva para mostrar su patriotismo.

We are going to make a small interruption of the trips in France, to show you about the celebration of “Grito de Independencia” (Mexican Independence Day) that luckily I had the opportunity to be here this occasion. The celebration is a kermese and a ceremony, where the call to Independence is recreated (like happened in 1810), and all the people is dressed in some Mexican way, takes their flags, etc… any thing that serves to show its patriotism.

Despues de nuestro recorrido por el mercado, nos fuimos al llamado "Espacio Van Gogh", este lugar era un hospital y Vincent Van Gogh estuvo hospitalizado ahi, y pinto uno de sus famosos cuadros (Si alguien al ver las fotos del lugar se acuerda del nombre del cuadro, por favor comentenlo aqui)

After our walk in the street market, we wento to the "Van Gogh space", this place was a hospital and Vincent Van Gogh was hospitalized there, and he did there one of his famous paintings (If someone after see the pictures of the place remembers the name of he paint, please post it here)

Que bonito jardin / What a beauty garden

Este lugar ahora se usa como oficinas del ayuntamiento y mediateca. Los locales exteriores se usan para tiendas con articulos para los turistas (casi todo relacionado a VVG, postales y otras cosas pintorescas de Arles).

This place now is being used for government buildings and a mediateque. The places in the exterior are being used as stores for tourists (almost all related to VVG, postcards and other nice things from Arles).

La semana pasada, tuve la grata sorporesa de recibir este reconocimiento de parte de un integrante de la comunidad bloguera que creyo que mi blog valia la pena merecerlo, estoy muy contenta de haberlo recibido y le agradezco mucho.

El dia sabado se pone en Arles el mercado en una de las calles principales, ahi se puede encontrar de todo: ropa, verduras, plantas, souvenirs, etc... Nos levantamos temprano para ir a ver el revuelo que se armo, y tome algunas fotos que aqui les muestro...

All the saturdays in Arles there is the street market, there many things can be found: clothes, vegetables, plants, souvenirs, etc... We wake up early to go see all the stands and I took some pictures that I show to you...

Jabones tradicionales hechos artesanalmente, uno de los souvenirs preferidos de los turistas, de hecho estos jabones los compre la primera vez que regrese a Mexico, peeeeero me los robaron toditos en el robo de mis maletas / Traditional soaps hand made, is one of the prefered souvenirs, in fact I had bought these soaps the first time I went back to Mexico, but in the baggage stole all were lost
